The first month of the year kicks off with plenty of social media post opportunities and monthly observances. Start by celebrating New Year’s Day, and New Year’s Resolution Week which is, you guessed it, the first week of the year. It’s also Ditch New Year’s Resolutions Day on the 17th of the month, and overall the month is International Creativity Month. Most notably, the third Monday in January is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so celebrate Dr. King and take part in his legacy in January.

February is most notably Black History Month, and it’s also Heart Month, so raising awareness is a big theme in February. The first Sunday in February is always Super Bowl Sunday, Groundhog Day always falls on the 2nd of the month, and then of course Valentine’s Day is the 14th. March is a fun month to celebrate on social media, post ideas are endless this month. Daylight Savings Time typically kicks in on the second Sunday of the Month, the March Equinox on the 20th, and St. Patrick’s Day always falls on the 17th. It’s also Women’s History Month, and International Women’s Day falls on the 8th of March every year. National Pi Day is on March 14th (3.14), and the Ides of March is on the 15th.
