A true American hero, Harriet Tubman was an anti-slavery activist who, after escaping slavery herself, went on to carry out 13 missions to rescue approximately 70 other enslaved people.

March 11 – Anniversary of WHO declaring COVID-19 a Pandemic

March 14 – Pi Day
Not to be confused with Pie Day, Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used by mathematicians to represent the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is a great opportunity to celebrate math and show off how many numbers you can remember from Pi.

March 14 – 27th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

March 16 – SXSW Online 2021 Begins
As the title suggests, SXSW will be completely virtual this year. The festival is said to include keynotes, Conference sessions, Music Festival showcases, Film Festival screenings, world-class networking, and the unexpected discoveries that are always a part of SXSW.

March 17 – St. Patrick’s Day
